Reading meta information/data with NFC TagInfo app by NXP
Sometimes it is not enough to use our RFID Analyzer from our Spider RFID Reader Tool to read all data information on a HF (13.56MHz) transponder. Then we would suggest you to use a phone app and share the information with us.
The NFC TagInfo app by NXP reads meta information and data from contactless RFID and NFC transponders. This allows you to see what technology is enabling your contactless cards. The app helps you explore the various NFC features of your devices and helps you enjoy the technology.

Side note:
It is best to use an Android phone since the IOS/Apple version does not provide all the details. Android phones goes more into depth, more details.

Steps to follow:
- Download the app
- Open de app. Make sure you don't have other cards behind your phone (e.g. drivers license, bank cards)
- Select the FULL SCAN tab
- Present your HF transponder (card/fob) at the back of your phone. Wait long enough to hear 2 different beeps, that means it is finished scanning.
- Use the share button to email the scan report to yourself and attach it to the corresponding ticket
