We are proud to announce we have launced a spin-off of our Spider RFID Reader tool: the Field Service Edition! This is a limited version of our standard Spider RFID Reader Tool and released to serve Field Service Engineers to their needs. .
It can help Field Service Engineers to maintain the Spider family with these functionalities:
- Upload firmware or configuration files to the Spider RFID Reader
- Clone a config from a reader and store it in a file with the Clone Reader Config
- Create a Config Card to transfer a configuration to multiple Spiders
- Program a configuration and/or firmware on the Spider
- Analyse cards, identifying the card type and data that is on the card.
As it is outside the role of a Field Service Engineer, the Spider Reader FSE Tool is not capable of editing configurations, just to write or replace existing configurations.
